L.A marathon: Here I come


I really wanted to sleep in today but the first thought that ran through my mind was – hard work pays off and I got out of bed around 5:45am and had a can of V8. I stretched and than my friend knocked on the door. She’s definitely a morning person lol <3333 mornings don’t agree with me all the time.

We both turned on our phones and began the first workout from the getrunning app (thanks to the person who made me aware of this app) I walk/ran for 28 minutes and felt great afterwards. This may seem small to some people but for me this was a great accomplishment, my first day training for a diabetes walk/run (I’m doing with my friend Derek).

I still have a long way to go but I’m going to do this. This is more than my weight – this is my path to health.

  1. OMG I had the same problem this morning: today was my workout day but I was too tired & don't have your courage so I slept longer then work & than ran the elliptical after work :). So I'm still happy I did it anyway! It was my 2nd workout of the week, next one on Thursday!

    Your app seems SO cool! I've just checked it on Google and it really looks great & motivating! Too bad I HATE running :( lol.
